Speech announcement:

— The policy aimed at reducing sugar in food and the introduction of an excise tax on sugar-containing beverages in 2023 led to an active reformulation of recipes. Beverage manufacturers are considering various options for replacing sugar with other components in beverages, while trying to preserve the familiar taste of their products as much as possible. We will talk about what can and cannot replace sugar from the point of view of excise tax calculation, and what the beverage industry expects from related industries in this regard.
